Watermelon Kavadrat fabric and painted Pink Cross
We designed this wall cross to be a humble reminder of God's glory and to remember Jesus's love for us.
The cross is designed to intentionally stand out by floating off from the circular back. It is made from machined steel featuring rounded ends, then cleanly joined by hand with silver solder. Painted in a custom pink with automotive quality paint.
Contrasting in material and form, the circular back Large Halo represents God's infinite love, and the halo of Christ. We select the beautiful Kvadrat woven fabric that is upholstered to the front portion of the circular back. The fabric is made of duo tone yarns which create interesting color, depth, and texture. We source and repurpose these fabrics from previous production seasons in the furniture industry. The CNC machined base is made of White Oak which has a soft pillow look that gradually wraps toward the edge. An integrated keyhole allows for easy wall mounting and stability.
